Ā Tapputi is committed to ensuring that orders are dispatched and delivered in a reliable, efficient and professional manner. This Shipping Policy sets out the terms applicable to deliveries within South Africa and to international destinations.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on operational factors, courier capacity, location, customs processing, public holidays and other circumstances beyond Tapputi’s control.


DOMESTIC SHIPPING WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA

Shipping Carriers

Domestic shipments within South Africa are fulfilled through Pargo, The Courier Guy and Fastway, selected at Tapputi’s discretion based on reliability, service coverage and operational requirements.

Delivery Timeframes

Domestic orders typically take 5 (five) to 10 (ten) business days to be delivered.

Orders placed after 13h00, on weekends or on public holidays may only be processed on the next business day, which may result in a longer delivery timeframe.

Shipping Fees

Orders in South Africa are free of charge on all orders across the country.Ā Tapputi reserves the right to amend shipping fees at any time without prior notice, provided that any such change shall not affect an order that has already been confirmed and paid for.

Free Shipping

Free shipping is available for orders of R1000 or more, provided that the delivery address is within South Africa and subject to any promotional terms that may apply from time to time.

Tapputi reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw free shipping promotions at any time, subject to applicable law.

Customs and Duties

No customs duties or import taxes apply to domestic shipments delivered within South Africa.

Insurance

All domestic shipments are packed and dispatched with due care. Any insurance or risk cover applicable to a shipment will be subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of the relevant courier service provider.

Tapputi does not warrant that every shipment will be insured unless expressly stated otherwise.

Tracking

Once a waybill has been created for your order, tracking information will be made available to you, enabling you to monitor the collection, transit and delivery of your parcel through the relevant courier’s tracking platform.

Customer Assistance

Should you require any assistance in relation to a domestic delivery, Tapputi’s support team will use reasonable efforts to assist with shipping-related queries and courier follow-up where necessary.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Shipping Carrier

All international shipments are currently fulfilled through DHL, unless Tapputi determines otherwise at its discretion.

Delivery Timeframes

International orders typically take 7 (seven) to 21 (twenty-one) business days to arrive, depending on the destination country, customs clearance procedures, local courier handling and other factors beyond Tapputi’s control.

Order Recommendations

Due to the cost of international shipping, Tapputi recommends that customers placing international orders consider purchasing multiple items in one order in order to maximise shipping value.

This recommendation is for convenience only and does not constitute a requirement for purchase.

Customs and Duties

Customers are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, levies or similar charges imposed by the destination country.

Such charges vary from country to country, and Tapputi is unable to provide estimates or guarantees regarding the amount of such charges. Customers are advised to contact their local customs office or relevant authority for further information before placing an international order.

Tapputi shall not be liable for any delay, non-delivery, confiscation, or additional charges arising from customs processes in the destination country.

Free Shipping

Free shipping is available exclusively for qualifying orders delivered within South Africa.

International orders do not qualify for free shipping unless Tapputi expressly states otherwise in writing or in a specific promotional offer.

Insurance

All international shipments are prepared and dispatched with due care. Any insurance or shipment protection applicable to an international order will be subject to the terms and conditions of DHL or any other appointed international carrier.

Tapputi does not guarantee insurance cover unless expressly stated otherwise.

Tracking

Once your international order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number that may be used to monitor the status and movement of your parcel on the relevant courier’s website.

Customer Assistance

Tapputi’s support team is available to assist with general international shipping queries and will use reasonable efforts to support customers in relation to shipment tracking and delivery-related concerns.


ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are processed during Tapputi’s normal business hours on business days only.

Tapputi reserves the right to delay processing where necessary for payment verification, stock confirmation, address verification, operational constraints or any other reasonable cause.

Where an order cannot be fulfilled within a reasonable time, Tapputi will use reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer using the contact details provided at checkout.


DELIVERY LIMITATIONS

Tapputi shall not be responsible for delivery delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • courier delays;

  • severe weather conditions;

  • strikes or labour disruptions;

  • public holidays;

  • civil unrest;

  • customs delays;

  • incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer; or

  • any force majeure event.

Any delivery date provided is an estimate only and shall not be binding unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.


ACCURACY OF DELIVERY INFORMATION

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all delivery details provided at the time of purchase are accurate and complete.

Tapputi shall not be liable for delays, failed deliveries, additional courier charges or losses arising from incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery information supplied by the customer.

Where a parcel is returned to Tapputi due to incorrect delivery information or failed delivery attributable to the customer, Tapputi reserves the right to charge an additional delivery fee before re-dispatching the parcel.


TRACKING AND RISK

Once an order has been dispatched and handed over to the relevant courier, delivery will be subject to the courier’s processes and timelines.

Tapputi will provide tracking information where available, but Tapputi does not control the courier’s systems, estimated delivery dates or operational procedures.

Risk in the goods shall remain subject to applicable law and any rights afforded to consumers under law shall not be limited by this Shipping Policy.


GENERAL

Tapputi reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time, without prior notice, provided that no such amendment shall affect orders already confirmed and paid for, unless required by law or due to an obvious error.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to limit, exclude or waive any rights that a customer may have under applicable law.
