The website www.tapputioils.co.za (“Website”) is operated in South Africa by Tapputi (Pty) Ltd (“Tapputi”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a South African company forming part of the Tapputi International group, whose parent company is Tapputi International Ltd, registered in Mauritius.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to our Website, purchases of our products, participation in promotional offers and use of our online services.

By accessing or using our Website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our applicable Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies available under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.

Customers are encouraged to review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Any voluntary returns or exchanges based on fragrance preference are subject to our published Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in this section affects customers' statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe, incorrectly described or otherwise non-compliant products.

5. ORDERS AND PAYMENT

An order is submitted when a customer completes the checkout process.

Orders are subject to payment confirmation, stock availability, verification where reasonably required and acceptance by Tapputi.

An automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily confirm that payment has been received or that an order has been accepted for fulfilment.

Tapputi reserves the right to contact customers where additional information is required to process an order.

Where an order cannot be fulfilled because a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing error has occurred or another legitimate issue prevents fulfilment, the customer will be informed and offered an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law.

Where payment has already been received and an order is lawfully cancelled, any refund due will be processed through an appropriate payment method.

6. PRICING AND TAXES

All products are offered at the prices displayed on the Website at the time an order is placed, subject to applicable promotional conditions and correction of obvious errors as permitted by law.

Prices are displayed in South African rand unless expressly indicated otherwise.

Applicable taxes are included or disclosed as required by law.

Tapputi reserves the right to adjust product prices for future transactions without prior notice.

Price changes will not ordinarily affect orders already accepted and paid for, except where a lawful correction or cancellation is permitted.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be disclosed before an order is confirmed.

7. PRICING, PROMOTIONS AND SPECIAL OFFERS

Tapputi may offer discounts, promotional campaigns, complimentary products, bundle pricing, vouchers or other special offers.

All promotional offers are subject to their published conditions, eligibility requirements, availability and validity periods.

Tapputi reserves the right to introduce, amend, suspend or withdraw promotional offers for future transactions, subject to applicable law.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions may not be combined with other discounts, vouchers or special offers.

Where a promotion has a stated expiry date, the offer will end on that date unless extended by Tapputi.

Promotional Errors and Misuse

Promotional benefits are valid only where the applicable qualifying conditions have been met.

An incorrect discount or promotional benefit arising from a technical malfunction, software error, unintended application behaviour or manipulation of the Website does not automatically create entitlement to that benefit.

Where Tapputi reasonably identifies an obvious error or unauthorised promotional benefit, we may investigate and, where legally permitted, correct the offer, decline the discount or cancel the affected order before fulfilment.

If an affected order has already been paid for, the customer will be informed and any payment due for refund will be returned in accordance with applicable law.

Tapputi may take appropriate action where there is evidence of deliberate fraud or abuse, without limiting customers' lawful rights.

8. FIRST-TIME CUSTOMER AND NEWSLETTER DISCOUNTS

First-time customer discounts, welcome offers and newsletter sign-up discounts are intended exclusively for eligible customers making their first qualifying purchase from Tapputi.

These discounts are available once per person and apply only to that person's first qualifying purchase.

Creating additional email addresses, registering multiple customer accounts or using alternative contact details does not establish eligibility for further first-time customer discounts.

Unsubscribing from and subsequently resubscribing to our newsletter does not renew or restore eligibility for a first-time customer discount.

A first-time customer discount may not be transferred, duplicated, repeatedly redeemed or combined with other promotional offers unless expressly authorised by Tapputi.

Where Tapputi reasonably establishes that these eligibility conditions have been circumvented, we reserve the right, subject to applicable law, to:

• Decline or remove an ineligible discount.

• Offer the customer the opportunity to pay the correct order amount before fulfilment.

• Cancel an affected order before fulfilment where legally permitted.

• Refund any payment received where cancellation requires a refund.

Eligibility assessments will be based on relevant information reasonably available to Tapputi and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Customers may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time. Unsubscribing does not affect existing purchases, statutory rights or eligibility for ordinary customer service.

These conditions are intended to ensure that promotional offers remain fair and available to genuinely eligible customers.

9. BUNDLES, COMBINATIONS AND PROMOTIONAL INTEGRITY

Certain Tapputi products may be offered as promotional bundles, gift sets, combinations or special purchase arrangements.

Bundle pricing, complimentary items and promotional add-ons are available only where all applicable qualifying conditions are satisfied.

Where an order results from an obvious technical error or deliberate circumvention of promotional requirements, Tapputi may review and, where permitted by law, correct or cancel the affected order before fulfilment.

Any payment requiring reimbursement will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

10. DISCOUNT CODES, VOUCHERS AND GIFT CARDS

Promotional Discount Codes

Unless expressly stated otherwise, only one promotional discount code may be applied per order.

Discount codes cannot be stacked or combined with other promotional offers unless the specific promotion expressly permits this.

Promotional codes may be subject to eligibility conditions, product exclusions, minimum purchase requirements, usage limits and expiry dates.

Tapputi may decline a code that is expired, invalid, ineligible, previously redeemed beyond its permitted usage or obtained through misuse.

Complimentary Promotional Vouchers

Complimentary vouchers and promotional credits issued without payment may be subject to the specific conditions communicated when issued.

Unless otherwise stated, a complimentary promotional voucher may have a validity period of one year (365 days) from its date of issue, provided this is permitted by applicable law.

Such vouchers are not automatically exchangeable for cash and may not be combined with other promotions unless expressly permitted.

Purchased Gift Cards and Prepaid Vouchers

Gift cards and prepaid vouchers purchased for monetary value are treated separately from complimentary promotional discounts.

Purchased gift cards and prepaid vouchers remain valid for the period required by applicable South African consumer protection legislation, including the statutory minimum period where applicable.

Their terms of redemption, remaining balances and expiry will be administered in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this section permits Tapputi to impose a shorter validity period than the law allows for purchased prepaid vouchers.

11. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Tapputi provides complimentary standard shipping to one delivery address per order within South Africa.

Under normal operating conditions, domestic delivery is generally estimated at 3–5 business days from order confirmation and receipt of payment.

During Black November, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, the Christmas festive season and other peak periods, processing and delivery may take longer.

International orders are generally dispatched through DHL, with estimated delivery of 7–21 business days, subject to destination and customs requirements.

Additional delivery charges may apply to international orders, multiple delivery addresses, customer-requested changes or unsuccessful deliveries attributable to incorrect information supplied by the customer.

12. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact Tapputi as soon as possible.

Where possible, we request that cancellation enquiries be submitted within 12 hours of placing an order, preferably before dispatch.

This 12-hour period is an operational guideline and does not limit any statutory cancellation rights.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation and return arrangements will depend on the circumstances, the condition of the products and applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where cancellation is permitted, any applicable refund, exchange or store credit will be handled in accordance with the relevant legal requirements and our Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in this section limits a customer's statutory cooling-off, cancellation or refund rights.

13. RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

Tapputi's Return and Refund Policy sets out the conditions applicable to voluntary returns, exchanges, store credit, damaged products, incorrect orders and other return-related matters.

Voluntary returns or exchanges based on personal fragrance preference or change of mind may be subject to specific product eligibility, condition and courier requirements.

Certain products intended for fragrance testing, including sampler sets, may have additional conditions for voluntary returns.

These voluntary conditions do not exclude or restrict any statutory rights that may apply.

Where legislation entitles a customer to a monetary refund, Tapputi will comply with that requirement notwithstanding any store-credit arrangements offered under its voluntary returns policy.

Customers are encouraged to consult our published Return and Refund Policy before placing an order.

14. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION

Tapputi is committed to protecting customers' personal information and handling it responsibly.

Nothing in these Terms limits customers' statutory rights relating to product quality, safety, delivery, refunds or other protections under applicable consumer legislation.
